I would like to upgrade by Westsell 327 Modem/Router and would like recommendations.

Not sure what you are looking for. More flexible modem, gigabit router, Wireless-n, wireless-ac?
Westell used to make some of the best DSL gear (not sure where the 327w was in their lineup). But they seemed to have left the market on such products. I know they sold most of their consumer stuff to Netgear.
Looking for a modem/router with better speed and range for multiple wireless devices.
Having to reset my 327W quite often these days and range is limited.
I used to have a Westell 327W that VZ had prvided me when I first got DSL.
When the 327W went bad I got VZ to send me a new Westell 7500, for a few extra dollars a month. I have had no complaints about the 7500. It just works.
I don't think you can buy a 7500 new from anybody but VZ. Did you get your existing 327W from VZ?
The 7500 has four ethernet ports and a wireless with range of about 200 feet.
