i have an xbox360 which the ethernet cable would plug directly into my at&t tv reciever box and connect to the internet......... i now have fios and when i plug the ethernet cable into my new box it will not connect... is there a way to connect to the internet through a ethernet cable via the fios tv box?
No. The eternet jack on the rear of Verizon's STB is not active. If you do not have an ethernet port close you will have to look into wireless gaming bridges to connect to the network i.e. if you can hit the wireless network from your location.
It's always better to connect with ether cable to minimize lag time.
