I spent more than I would have if I had known that the motion detection distance is maximum 15 Ft. So if you intend as I did to watch the sidewalk in front of your home and its more than 15 Ft the camera will never pick up the movement so don't buy it it you have not do so yet. It will only disappoint you. But if you want to watch the front door and mount the camera on the front patio it will show you when the UPS delivered a package. Also there is not a sensitivity adjustment on the camera so every time the wind blows the camera will activate and catch the leaves as they blow across yours patio. Anyway just another expensive disappointment.
