Out door camera motion sensitivity

Is there a way to adjust the motion detection sensitivity on the outdoor camera? Mine goes off every 2 minutes during the night.

Re: Out door camera motion sensitivity

The Motion Detection area can be adjusted via the "Motion Detection" tab on the "Settings" page in the Home Monitoring and Control web application for any type of Home Monitoring and Control camera.

For best results adjust the "Motion Detection Box" to cover only the area you wish to detect motion. This allows you to ignore motion such as trees or plants moving because of the wind, a busy sidewalk or other areas of motion you do not want to trigger Home Monitoring and Control Notifications or Modes.

Re: Out door camera motion sensitivity

I belive the answer you are looking for is no. It does not have a sensitivity control that I can find. Mine goes off every 2 minutes at night also even if I set my motion detection area as small as possible. Another ever growing unfixed flaw in the home monitoring debacle....errrrr system.
