I have a NAS configured and I would like to access it from the Internet. I am using DDNS to access the NAS. I am not able to access the NAS from the Internet. I have verified with my NAS manufacterur that the NAS and DDNS are configured properly. The problem has to be from my router. My router is model MI424WR rev. I. I have portforwarding configured, but when I test my connection from the Internet to my public IP on http://canyouseeme.org/, the test fails for ports 80, 8080, etc. Here is the rule for my NAS:
I think that my rule is correct, but yet the tests fail on http://canyouseeme.org/ The error message from that page is:
Error: I could not see your service on xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx on port (8080)
Reason: Connection timed out
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is obviously my public IP. Can anyone provide me with some help?

Temporarily move it to a DMZ and test again. If it still fails then it is not the port configs that are the problem
