I have HD-DVR (HR22) and a Westell router (Model 7500). I purchased a NetGear Universal WiFi Internet Adapter (WNCE2001) in order to connect the TV/DVR into my home network, but I can't figure out how to make it work. What are the steps? Is purchasing the DirecTV the only way to do this is to buy the DirecTV Connection Kit? I bought the WNCE2001 as I was told by a DirecTV tech that an Ethernet-type connection (like the DirecTV Connection Kit) would only work; I had 1st tried the USB-type connection (Linksys Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter). Going crazy in VA....any help or advice would be appreciated!
