I live in the Bethlehem, PA phone exchange and my ACR when activated or deactivated produces a loud buzz. Also, parties calling my number with a blocked caller id get nothing rater than the message to call back un-blocking their number.
Reported weekly to repair service since 02/22/12. Filed informal complaint with PA PUC.
Verizon has called me back after numerous requests and said they can't fix the problem and it affects everyone in the exchange.

hey folks the loud buzz is gone when you dial *77 or *87!!! Now it beeps twice! However, calling parties who block their caller ID still just get dumped instead of getting the message to call back with caller id. Somebody must be getting my message.....
