I was interested in adding 2nd landline. I know where the ONT is but does anyone have any instructions on self-installing and the possible difficulty. What materials would I need and how much would the cost be for the line? Thanks in advance.
With the FiOS services add the second line it would be 9.99. And I don't know how to help you out with the instalattion, you should contact FiOS Tech Support for that.

You shouldn't have to do anything. Verizon will make the connection to your phone junction box. Most home internal wiring is already suitable for a second line. Unless a previous DIY type has gotten creative with the phone wiring, it should be a simple process.
I think just plug in the hole of ONT,as so easy
