My distinctive ring gets answered by my Call answer feature on the main number. I don't want that. I have had distinctive ring with another carrier previously and you could ask to have it set to not be answered by the Call Answer on the main line that the distinctive ring was on.
Verizon is telling me I can't disable that: that distinctive ring will always be answered by Call answer if I have call answer enabled.
I'm not sure thats true as the customer service person i spoke with didn't seem to technically up to speed.
Anyone else know or have the feature without call answer answring the call on the distinctive ring number??
