I had the FIOS triple play installed a few weeks ago. I already had Freedom Essentials w/copper..Verizon just changed my phone over to FIOS Freedom Essentials when I ordered the triple play.
During the two years that I had the copper line, my service never dropped.
However, within two weeks of FIOS, my line went down. It was down for about 30 minutes around 2:30 am last night and my alarm panel interpreted the outage as a line cut and went off.
My question is: has anyone else had this happen? Is this common with FIOS or just a glitch?
I really do not like the fact that my service went down. I actually stayed away from my local cable company's VOIP phone service since they often do updates during the overnight, causing my friend's alarm to go off
