I have the Basic Home Voice Mail service and in order to be able to change the 'ring count' the manual states there is a "Small additional fee".

Does anyone know what the fee is($)?

I never heard of that. I change my ring count 1-2x/day through the HVM menu and have never been charged any kind of a fee.

I just got off the phone w/Verizon (1-800-483-4000);  seems that the ability to change the Ring Count depends on "if" one lives where "facilities permit".  Since I don't, I cancelled the HVM service completely from my account!  I understand there is a $1/month charge for this "option" on the Basic plan.  Too bad, there are features I would like to use.
