I finally have electric power back but no Verizon phone. I can't get thru to Verizon because I have NO PHONE and they only accept emails for mobile concerns. My mobile phone doesn't work where I live so I have to drive somewhere to sit on hold with Verizon (tried that 3 times for over 20 minutes and gave up). I don't understand why they can't post outages in my area and list approximate times the service will be restored. Today (after 5 days), when I entered my info, they finally acknowledged a problem in my area. When I enter my cell phone for them to call with restoration times, the site says it doesn't register due to TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. I can't wait to get my phone back so I can switch to a different phone company.
