Outgoing caller ID

Hello All;  my outgoing caller ID says the name of Ester sombody - not me. I have two lines and it only happens on one.  Any clues?  Thanks

This happened to me when I signed up for fios. I had somoene else's name on my caller id. What it is, is the records haven't been updated in the database.

All you have to do is call Verizon (or contact them through their facebook page which I found to be easier) and tell them they need to update the caller id database with your information for your number.

I have been waiting for years for them to correct our outcalling CALLER ID.... it's been more than four years and many phone calls.   Very frustrating as some people won't answer our calls because they do not recognize the name on the caller ID.

The strangest part is that I have had the same phone number since 1997 and the CALLER ID was always correct until I signed up for FIOS with every carrier I have had prior.

I've had ticket numbers and lots of calls, they just say they'll try but most likely it'll correct itself. But nothing ever happens!   We have no idea who the guy is who is listed on our caller ID.
