I ported my number about 3 months ago to a voip service.   Since I didn't really like the quality, I wanted to port my number back to my verizon land line.   The rep stated "the system wouldn't allow him to port it back".   Does verizon see the number as tainted or something?   Has anyone had there number ported back to a verizon land line?

There are certain stipulations regarding where are number can be ported from and to. If you had called to get the telephone number ported and they said it couldn't be done, then there is nothing we can do to override this. I apologize for the inconvenience.
