You are being spammed by telemarketers.  I can do a web search for the number and see other complaints.

How do I stop nuisance calls when Verizon is the nuisance caller? I tried customer service who says they can't remove my number from solicitations calls. They recomend I register on the national "do not call" registry. i'm already on that list but Verizon doesn't seem to check. Escalated to executive offices .

When verizon calls asked to be removed from their calling list.  It usually takes 30 days or so to go through.  If after 30 days they are still calling then you need to report them to the do not call list.  When we had a home phone we just used to screen with caller ID and answer only what we wanted too.  Now on my cell I vary rarely get a junk call but when I do I can just block them right on my phone or set my phone to only allow calls through from people in my address book.  Mary

REAL Verizon will remove you from their call list for all but a few items (still will call for payment problems, service problems,etc).

But a lot of spammers are out there.

Set up DO NOT DISTRUB LIST,  only the numbers you wish is allow to incoming.

verizon cust service is rotten.  I have an issue and no idea how to resolve.  the web site is about useless.  is there an email address for customer service???
