I tried to change my service to OOMA, but it would not work. I canced my OOMA account and told them not to transfer my Verizon number to them {edited for privacy}. They continued to transfer my number anyway. I called Verizon customer service on Thursday 10/17/2013, and told the lady that I talked to, what had happened. She told me not to worry, that my number would be restored to me , but that it would take 24 hours. It has now been 4 days and I still do not have any phone service. Will I be able to get my service restored with my old number? If so how much longer will it take?

Not a good idea to post your phone number on here. These are peer-to-peer forums and now anyone who reads this post knows your phone number.
