Hi, I am new here. I just moved an signed up for FIOS. I didn't want to post this under the "landline" forum since I don't know if that is the same thing. But when I turn on my phone, it beeps about 6 times before I get a solid dial-tone. Does anyone know if this is normal or not? Thanks!
It is called stuttered dial tone, it means that you have a voice mail message.
