FiOS DVRs are the preschoolers of the dvr world.
If there is a recording conflict, there is no resolution functionality.
If a first run episode is missed, the next showing of that episode is NOT considered first run but a repeat.
If a recording fails, the DVR does not know that and will not record it again later.
VOD only has some programming and will only allow you basic functions, no skipping and do not pause more than 2 minutes or it starts over.
As for techs and others telling people to go to the internet for missed shows... totally unacceptable.
I came from Dish myself and it really is disappointing that a billion dollar corporation like Verizon is unable to compete on any level with Dish much less Hulu.
