Re: FIOS 1.9a rolling out

Check your setup. My Motorola 7232 box is 16:9 ... but the older ones may not handle that???

Re: FIOS 1.9a rolling out

It needs to be a 7 Series box.

Well, it finally started to work for me. It's working now... seems fine, but here's what I am NOT IMPRESSED WITH:

IT'S STILL A 4:3 GUIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am guessing this is a Motorola hardware issue and won't be fixed until the new boxes come out (whenever that may be).

All I can say is that it's very frustraing not having a guide that fills the entire screen. This is 2011.

Anyone know when New York is on the schedule?

NY is scheduled for the middle of the pack.
Not sure when this is but VZ will not tell anyone the order of the rollout.

Yeah, I have the QIP6416-2. Can I request to have the newer model? Or will they give me that nonsense like: "Well, we can request to have it switched, but they may bring out the same model you already have. It's random... blah blah blah"

Re: FIOS 1.9a rolling out

I hope this rollout is for real... Knowing  how Verizon performed rollout of 1.9 in April and May , it's not out of question that once again it could be long and painful proccess.  Does anybody have information of rollout schedule by VHO? I am on VHO-6, MA

Thanks

I'm in the DC area and just upgraded from the 6416 to the 7232.  I did it online and had the new box within 2 days.

Re: FIOS 1.9a rolling out

Has the rollout in Pittsburgh completed?  I am in Pgh. and have not received the 1.9a update yet.

Re: FIOS 1.9a rolling out

Pittsburgh was included in the rollout that occurred on Wednesday.  I would have thought everyone in the market would have received it.
