I'm not crazy about the guide either and it seems like in my case, the only way to overcome that limitation is to replace my analog TV with a flat screen because my STB is up to date. But I'm definitely not going to jump on that so fast because I want to wait and see what happens first and give it some time. The graphics are definitely too bright and the contrast creates this "fuzziness" with the main menu. The detailed menus are all right on my screen.
