Excuse me if I am very aggrevated right now . I spent 1 hour on the phone with Verizon 'customer service' being passed around, getting different answers and then hung up on because they closed! (Not before they tried to sell me a product ofcourse.
Our monthly bill was 152.00. We cancelled our services August 22nd 2011 which meant our final bill was from Aug 4th to Aug 22nd. We had no overdue bills/fees/fines . We got a bill for 117.00 and we paid it (We have bank proof) I got a bill June 2012 saying we owe 139.58 because our previous payment went to internet services and they couldn't do anything about that. There is NO WAY we owe 139.58 for a landline we never use when we paid a COMBINED 150 a month.
What are the tricks to getting threw to somebody who knows what they are talking about? Now we have overpayed by $110 (since they theratened collection agency we paid both bills) we want our money back.
