I'm really just on here to vent at this point as I look at the printed offerI received from January 2013 that I can't believe I fell for. The Fios TV Internet and Phone Bundle was listed at $89.99 + $300 Visa Prepaid Card with a 2 year contract. This is the offer I thought I was signing up for. In the process of my online sign up I decided to upgrade my internet speed for free so long as I signed up for OneBill. Since I also wanted a better TV package I went with the $109.99 per month one. So when all was said and done I wound up with a $119 service before taxes and fees. Not too bad. Plus my employer offered a $10 discount per month. I figured I was getting a deal comparable to what I was paying with my Cable Company. Boy was I wrong. After 3 and a half months of not getting the OneBill Discount or the gift card I decided to contact Customer Service. I was informed that the OneBill discount could not be applied due to the employer discount that I was signed up for. No disclosure on that one and I contacted Verizon two times to let them know only to be told that it was in the works. Same line I was given today 3 and half months after I signed up for the service. I was also informed that the package discounts that reduced the rate to $109.99 a month were in lieu of the prepaid gift card. Unfortunately no disclosure on that one either. In fact, the advertisement that I'm staring at while I'm typing this says exactly the opposite of that.
So after 3 and a half months I've decided to move on. Unfortunately I signed a contract for two years so its going to cost me $210 bucks. The nerve of these people breaching their own contract for 3 and a half months then charging me for it. Luckily the cable company is willing to pick up a good portion of that too.
Verizon, you are shameless. I'm actually considering cancelling my wireless service with you over this as well.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases".
There you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
