On 9/11/12 I signed up for Verizon. I was promised a $400 gift card if I paid my bill on time 3 months in a row. I did just that. Now, today I found out that I'm not receiving this because I'm on a month-by-month plan not a 2 year contract. This salesperson who signed me up said that I would be paying the same for the next two years. I cannot believe how I was scammed by Verizon. I am going to contact the FCC and the Better Business Bureau. They allow representatives to do this to unsuspecting people. We recently had a hurricane here, and we were out of power for 6 days. I still made my payment on time.
