In late January I started to register for the triple play to save a few dollars and the pay of the bill. What was added/to be added was directv. In February I received a bill from Verizon and one from Directive. What I found was that Verizon never registered MY account number with Directv. Directv billed and got paid by my credit card and Verizon sent me someone else's bill charged to by Verizon bill.
I called Verizon and after some long discussion they agreed after talking to Directv that there was an error and they would do their resolution process. Now we are and the end of March and my new bill says I now owe them like $230 for service I do not have with Verizon and calls only get me to an operator after like 20 minutes or more on the phone on hold. I cannot get beyond the operator.
After about and hour on the phone the operator and Directv have verified I am being billed for someone else's account but they won't remove it. I find this utterly hard to forgive. But, I have no choice but to get on my knees kiss the hand and pray to the goddess to please forgive me and correct my bill. Only one high speed internet and one real telephone company in the woods of PA.
There are totally stupid when it comes to other than mundane problems and show no customer empathy.
