I can say one thing for sure. Any type of reward that Verizon offered in exchange for customers to come with them, it is 100%. I have been a customer for over 3 years. When I first signed up, I received a $300 card and just about three months ago I moved which then I was able to act as a new customer and received my $500, which is already gone. I received it within the 90 days of new service.
Now my bill is somewhat high compared to Comcast, but any problems, I call customer service and they are pretty much helpful and do whatever, except when you are past due and then once a shut off date exists, no one wants to help out.
I never went through sales people and when doing that, I would be careful, I am sure some of them **bleep** just to get you over so they collect their portion......
