My Account "Temporary Problem" For More Than A Year Now

I've been a Verizon FIOS customer for more than a year now and in that time, My Verizon website has been completely non-functional.  I can look up billing and service information but any attempt to change services or see what options are available such as different internet or TV packages results in the message:

 

We're sorry.
We are experiencing a temporary problem and can't continue your order at this time.

 

Obviously, something is wrong with my online account.  Can someone at Verizon please contact me to figure this out?  I'd like to be able to manage my FIOS services online without having to call a telephone number all the time.

I'm Sorry you are having difficulty. An agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly (by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account) for more information or to help you resolve your issue.

Customer service (are you kidding me???)

Anyone else having a problem with the customer service staff (which is exactly the reason I left Verizon wireless) having a problem telling the difference between truth and fiction??  I switched my viewing package to the Ultimate only so I could watch Yankees games (please keep yankee comments to yourself).  I was told that "yes I would be able to watch Yankee's games with this package".  SO I bought the package several months ago in anticipation of baseball season.  First opportunity to watch a game - BAM - Mike Francesca is doing a re-run of his talk show!!   They had pre-game and post game shows but not the game.  I called customer service and I could hear the person scratching their brain with their finger....  They asked if there really was a game on- seriously...  Long story short - they lied!  

This morning about my bill be way higher than last month - $25 dollars worth of information calls - are you kidding me???   Her reply wasso, is there anything I can help with"

It is good to see that Verizon's customer service has not changed one little bit since I left.  I am really considering going back to directv - at least their customer service staff is helpful....

Hi again, can someone from Verizon please contact me again?  After my initial request for help, I was contacted by Verizon support but since then, I've been unable to reac him.  I've tried repeatedly to get an update on where things since my website problem needed to be investigated further but this Verizon support person refuses to reply to follow up emails or voicemails.  I can supply his name and contact info if neeeded.

KaLin, thank you for your prompt replies.  Unfortunately, I've got to ask your help AGAIN and this time ask for an escalation with a senior technician.  It is now approaching two months since I first contacted Verizon about the problems with my Verizon website access.  The problem is still not fixed.  After my last request for help back in May 23, I was contacted by the support rep who had previously ignored me.  He indicated that I would be contacted by another Verizon support rep by the end of that week with an resolution ETA.  That contact and resolution ETA never came.  Weeks have passed again with no contact from Verizon.  I have checked my account just now and it is still broken.  At this point, this is my last request for assistance fixing this problem.  My 2-year FIOS contract has ended and I received an offer from Verizon to sign a new one.  Based on the extraordinarily poor level of service, I am inclined not to do so.
