New Account Same Contract

     I've been with my contract for over two years now. About a year into it, I terminated my service and then went back in. I did pay the Termation Fee. I was put in a "second" account and I'm just wondering if the contact was re-newened in a way or changed is it still the same. Is it a year old, or two years old? Did my termination, affect the contract? Anything would be appreciated, Thanks.
