I have been notified that money from my verizon account had been transferred to Texas State unclaimed properety office. That I will need to contact verison and get my old account number or phone number. I was told this could be done with my social security number. NO ONE AT VERIZON CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT ADMITTEDLY KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE THIS REQUEST.
i DO NOT HAVE A BALANCE BUT A CREDIT THAT VERIZON TRANSFERRED TO THE STATE OF TEXAS TREASURER.
HOW DO I GET IT BACK, ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HELPFUL

I am sorry to hear about the frustration getting this taken care of. I have copied your post to a private support area that way we can get some account information from you to look into this further. Please refer all correspondences to there.

Since we haven't heard back from you or have received a form submission as requested in your private support case, it appears assistance is no longer required. If you need any future help with your Verizon service, please make a post here on the forums so we can assist.
