Why do I have to go through the My Verizon business and Residential screen every time I go online? How do I make it stop?

#1 What web browser are you are using? For example, Fire Fox 3.6.13
#2 What is the type of your Internet Connection ( Dial-Up, DSL, FIOS, Cell Phone ) ?

Internet Explorer 8
DSL
I used to be able to go right to my e-mail screen with my e-mails listed in a box. Now I have this business residential inquiry screen that I have to log into before I get to my email screen.

I really think the main problem is that when you click on private computer and stay logged on for 2 weeks, it doesn;t happen and makes you login everytime you exit out of the browser.

What URL did you use:
a) http://webmail.verizon.com/
b) OR
https://www.verizon.net/ssowebapp/VOLPortalLogin?T
c) OR something else, not listed

Ah, ha.
#1 In IE go to Tools -> Internet Options.
#2 Set the home page to what ever you want. For example
#3 Press Apply and then press Ok
#4 Close out the web browser and then reopen it when you want to..
#5 Now..
If you set the home page to something ( for example http://www.google.com/ ) and your web browser does not honor your request ( For example each time you close IE and reopen it, it is not http://www.google.com/ OR the web page of your choice ) you got some sort of malware/spyware on your computer.
To be more specific, points to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Browser_hijacker

DSIR,
Here's the deal. The google trick worked and I went to Google when I exited the browser and re-entered. Now when I simply wrote www.verizon.net into the address bar, it flew past that address and went right to
where I was asked to re-enter user and password information again.
If I exit the browser and re-enter even with the verizon address above with the "22", I am asked for my information yest again.

What do you have checked in Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> Auto Complete?
The last time that was using IE: This is what, I could check...
#1 Address bar
b) Browsing History.
c) Favorties
d) Feeds
e) Use Windows Search for better results.
#2 Forms
#3 User and passwords.
b) Under that, ask before saving passwords.
