Two-year price plan expiring after one year???

[ Edited ]

I just got a letter from Verizon Customer Relationship Marketing Director {edited for privacy} saying my base monthly rate is going to increase by $10 starting May 1, 2012. When we signed up for the Triple Play package in April of last year, however, the price was locked for *two* years, not one. Now this letter's saying the price is increasing after only *one* year? What gives? I know our free DVR credits end this year, is that what it's referring to? Or is this for the plan itself, excluding DVR?

UPDATE: Please disregard this message. I have spoken to Verizon Customer Service and the letter does not apply to us. Thanks anyway. Sorry to have taken up space on the forum. :smileyhappy:

This happend to me well after my first intial year. I got the same note in the mail, and was also told to ignore it although another rep. told me my price would go up but not to the amount the note said. Nothing did change though. I dont get why they send them out if they dont/wont apply. They should fix their systems.
