Why is my HD Set Top Box billed at $9.99 for 2 years?

Shouldn't it be at $5.99?    (got a notice that Verizon is rasing rate to $6.99 on 4/23)

Re: Why is my HD Set Top Box billed at $9.99 for 2 years?

$5.99 is the rate for our old standard set top boxes. The regular boxes are $9.99. You can get a break down of all our equipment prices at the following link.

Click on the plus sign next to where it says details to see the price of each of the different boxes.

Re: Why is my HD Set Top Box billed at $9.99 for 2 years?

I have the same HD set top box as my parents and my friend, and they have $5.99 on their bill.

What model of the "old" HD Set Top box is qualified for $5.99?

As I said the Verizon letter I received is rasing the HD Set Top box from $5.99 to $6.99 on 4/23.
