I CAN GO ON FOR HOURS ON HOW [edit] BY THIS COMPANY AND AFTER SPENDING HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH A RUDE LADY NAMED LISA SHE TOLD ME THAT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO FIX THE PROBLEMS AND THAT I HAVE A CONTRACT SO I HAVE TO PAY WHAT THEY SAY AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. SO I AM GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT I LET EVERYONE POSSIBLE THAT I CAN REACH EITHER IN PERSON, ON THE PHONE, AND ON THE COMPUTER TO STAY AWAY FROM VERIZON.

1. What exactly happened that needs/needed fixing?
2. If she was rude, why did you stay on the phone with her instead of requesting a supervisor or another agent?
3. Are you really going to give up after speaking to just one agent?

Well to start I was quoted a price by salesman and when the tech came to install the products he did not set everything up and said I did not order that package. When I showed him my paperwork from the salesman he said I needed to call and there was nothing he could do for me. So I call and I had to speak to about 5 different people and finally an agreement was made. Since then I have been over charged every month and every month when I call I get the run around and nothing happens. So this is not the first person I have spoken to at this company. I am tired of spending hours on the phone for nothing. This is just a billing issue. I also have a issue with there internet service. for the last 3 weeks my internet will be working fine then my wireless quits and will not come back for hours. I again have spent hours on the phone trying to fix this issue and they only solution anyone has for me is to unplug my router for about 5 mins. and try again. I have had a different internet service provider and used there equipment and never had the wireless problems that I am experiencing now.

Don't know if you have done this but Verizon wireless routers shipped for use with Fios are set to Channel 0 for wireless and should really be changed. You will experience loss of service and need to reboot the modem. Try changing it to channel 11 in he wireless basic settings.

I called to clarify a phone charge because Verizon CHARGES YOU FOR NOT USING a service. That's my long distance service. Since I don't use the minimum every month now the charge me extra to match a minimum service fee as if they weren't charging me a lot aldeady for something I'm not using.
After going thorugh enless 'press one for...' I got a useless customer service guy who got pretty edgy when I asked to clarify the charges. He contradicted himself many times and I have to tell him to 'knock it off' and don't get that attitude with me since he is supposed to be there to provide a service to customers. Well... I finally canceled the long distance service. That's what they get for being greedy. Instead of getting about 60 dollars a year for something I chose and I wasn't using, they wanted more, so I canceled the service and they are not getting it anymore.
The customer service guy gave me his first name only and argued that he couldn't give me his last name for security reasons. Maybe given the crappy service the provide they are scared of angry customers. But it got even worse when I asked to talk to his supervisor. He refused to transfer the call arguing that supervisors are pretty busy. {please keep your posts courteous} They dn't even know what each product is for and waht you can/cannot expect.
So the guy said he removed the service and I won;t be charged for anything else. We'll see. It's ourageous how shameful they are {please keep your posts courteous}. Yeah, it was just one dollar more a month, but multply that for how many million customers they have and there you have it, they make millions a month for doing nothing only to make pretty sure you have a really hard time getting through the phone to talk to an actual person. Ah, but how many letters/calls I offering me Fios and other services?

do they really have supervisors?
i've been asking to speak to one and they've said that they don't allow to speak with customers? which makes NO sense whatsoever! why would they have supervisors/managers/etc. if they aren't "ALLOWED" to speak with customers and deal with the problems/complaints?
