I switched from Time Warner to Verizon residential approx. 3 weeks ago. The service never worked and in order to receive incoming calls, I had to have my calls forwarded to my Verizon cell. After three weeks of no shows, excuses, being put on hold for total of hours, I gave up and switched back to time warner. The transfer was today but Verizon will not let go of my number and even though I am now officially back on time warner, Verizon is still forwarding all my calls to my cell and will not release the number to Time Warner. At one point I started to cry and the Verizon rep hung up on me. In over 50 years of phone service, I have never been treated so badly, lied to so much, ... and still to no avail. I am stuck with verizon holding my phone number hostage. HELP!!
