A One-Stop Shop for Free Educational Resources & Conversation

by Employee ‎04-26-2010 12:47 PM - edited ‎07-20-2010 04:02 PM

screenshot-homepage.jpgThe world of education is constantly changing and evolving. New standards are implemented, new ideas generated and new innovative ways to engage today’s students hatch daily.

That drive for innovation and the need for teachers to quickly and easily find resources to inspire students is the primary reason behind the re-launch and expansion of Verizon Thinkfinity.

Since its debut in March 2007, Verizon Thinkfinity has been a go to source for teachers seeking world-class resources to inspire and enlighten their students. With tens of thousands of lesson plans and resources created by 11 of the nation’s leading educational organizations, Verizon Thinkfinity has provided a continuous stream of free, updated resources for every teacher in reach of the Internet.

Now, we want to expand Thinkfinity’s impact.

We want Verizon Thinkfinity and the new Thinkfinity Community to become a complete one-stop shop for every teacher, parent, and afterschool practitioner interested in the issue of education.

Here are a few highlights of what you will find on the new Verizon Thinkfinity:

  • Newsfeeds on the latest education news
  • A community forum where teachers, administrators and parents can freely share ideas, ask for assistance, or discuss the topics of the day
  • Social Networking Tools

I invite to take a few minutes to explore the new Thinkfinity and encourage you to spread the word among your friends and colleagues.

Also, please join the conversation.

I look forward to seeing your replies and speaking with you regularly in the Thinkfinity Community.
