We just recently issued our 2010/2011 Corporate Responsibility report. In it we talk about Verizon’s priorities for our business, our customers and the communities we serve.
We talk about bringing our commitment to execution and operational excellence to everything we do, including corporate responsibility. And, perhaps most importantly, we give facts about what we said we’d do, what we did and what we will do in the year ahead.
To me, those concrete achievements and goals make this report more than just talk. Focusing on what matters most to our stakeholders, listening to what they tell us and taking action on those issues represents our dedication to being good corporate citizens.
Over the coming weeks, I will focus on one or our priorities at a time and let you see how we did on each. I look forward to your comments and thoughts.
Here are a few examples from the section on ethics and governance. To read more, see pages 6 and 7 of the report.
