When you go to your favorite restaurant all of the things you’ve come to expect and enjoy -- the bread, entrée, delicious desserts and perhaps the ambiance and conversation – are all baked into a good night out.
That’s also the case with the new Samsung Intensity II cell phone, which we just recently launched.
This little gem has a lot on its plate!
The Samsung Intensity II’s “entrée” comes in the form of the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, music player and one-touch access to social networking sites, so you can let your network know what’s on the menu.
But the “side dishes” are where the real excitement comes in. The 1.3 megapixel infrared camera with night vision will allow you to find the best bread in the basket, even in the darkest restaurant!
The phone’s environmental features include an exterior battery cover made partly from recycled plastic which contains 35 percent post-consumer materials. The Intensity II’s packaging contains 60 percent recycled content and was printed in part with soy ink. Even the quick reference guide was printed on 20 percent post-consumer materials.
For dessert, I would suggest the tiramisu…then perhaps you could use the eco-calculator which comes standard on the Intensity II to track your carbon footprint.
I expect that the Intensity II will be an appetizer, so from time to time, visit us to see how we’re making our menu of products and services more sustainable.
