It's Christmas and I have my 3D tv and movies and games are looking great on it, albeit we definitely need more content out. INCLUDING... some channels from this wonderful fiber network Verizon has.
Sooooo...... whadup V? Where's our 3D by the end of the year?
I'm very disappointed that we missed the BCS National Championship in 3D because Fios is still behind Comcast and DirecTV. Everything Fios has said about 3D goes on and on about how their network is future proof and how they're going to be able to carry Full 1080p 3D. It's one thing to talk about it for a year. It's another thing to deliver it. I'm going to give it another few weeks and then I'll probably switch back to Comcast. Even the updates are coming in so infrequently that I have no idea if it's going to be next month or next year. All I'm hearing is "sometime in 2011", but it's hard to actually believe that when before I heard "by the holidays".
I'm with dpacifico. Very disappointing that the BCS game came and went and we missed it while my neighbors with their antiquated Comcast cable had it in 3D. So much for fiber optics leading the future wave.
I concur with dpacifico and dan610pa - live 3D content has been lacking. The SuperBowl better be broadcast live on FIOS in 3D, or anything Verizon labeled will never get another penny from me.
+1 on the lateness factor. this is pretty late in the game here
nada?
