Ability to SKIP TO END of a DVR recorded program

Can you please add the feature to SKIP TO THE END of a recording on the DVR?

 

There are times when I may miss the very end of a recording, when the program is showing the preview for the next week's show, then the recording ends and the DVR cuts off. I would like to be able to skip to the very end of the recording instead of having to FF through the WHOLE thing. And yes, I know you have the chapters features, but I still would like the option to just skip to the last, say minute of a recording, without having to go through the whole chapters thing. .

It's very difficult to skip to the end using Chapters and by the time I've repeated it over and over, trying to hit the right spot, going too far, and having to start again, it would have been faster to start at the beginning and Fast Forward instead. 

 

Skip to End is one of the very few features Cablevision offered, and one of the very few things I miss about it.  (Another is really good program listings.)

Bright House would allow users to skip to the end of an DVR program - they've had this feature for several years.

I posted a feature request asking for the ability to enter the number of minutes to skip forward or backwards. ReplayTV had this feature and it was great. It would allow you to enter '59' then press 'Next' to go to minute 59 of the program. That would work in this case to get to the last minute of a show, etc.

  Not being able to skip to the end is also very frustrating to me.  If I try to get to the end via Chapters then fast forward and don’t stop in time, I’m back at the beginning!

  I also use TiVo and it has the skip to the end capability. And it doesn’t pop back to the beginning unless you choose to.

  The programming behind FiOS, both on line and on the TV, is so poorly done and has such bad Quality control that Verizon should really be ashamed of themselves
