I am so sick and tired of trying to find where I left off after pausing or stopping an on demand movie part way through. Whenever I choose "Resume Play" my movie goes back to the beginning. Then, at 2x FF It takes a half hour to get to the place I left off.
Distributing DVRs and remotes without significan lag might help your customer satisfaction some.
Oh, and having On Demand work more than it doesn't. I'm also tired of hearing, "I'm sorry, we have a server down in your region." That's happened at least four times in the same amount of months.
I am SOOOO close to dropping this 'service.' If I could really call it that.
I am totally in agreement with you, JohnYaya. I can't tell you how many times I'll be watching a TV show On Demand, stop it for a short while to do something else, come back and hit "Resume Play" and the **bleep** show starts at the very beginning. It's even more aggravating when the show won't allow Fast Forward. What are you supposed to do - sit through the WHOLE show again? It is beyond frustrating when so many of these network shows allow Rewind, but not Fast Forward. That doesn't do me a bit of good when it takes me all the way back to the beginning of a 1-hour show. Why in the world can't someone at Verizon fix it so that the Resume Play button actually works?!! I'm sorry now that I switched to Verizon. I never had a problem with Comcast's On Demand.
So I'm wondering if the issue has been "acknowledged" how long does it take to get 'fixed'? This has been going on for way too long. Aw forget it I'll just use Netflix through the xbox or some other service. On demand is too much of a hassle ![]()
