Auto Spell Check by default or an option to turn it on. When a user clicks on the post button it could come up and run spell check like many Email programs. Fur peepol lick me hoo dunt speel weel. Some times what my head thinks does not make it out my finger tips properly.

This is most noticeable when posting in a blog where you can not go back and fix your post.

Wow! I just looked at the numbers. This isea had been viewed 1927 times on the Suggestions for this community board. Looked at but not acted upon. I was supposed to post it here a long time ago. Not even one Kudo for this idea. How about a few votes?

Anymore consideration? Very old request. The original Idea was sugested in 8/2010 as shown from the comment in this thread. It would be a nice feature, as many times my fat fingers forget to do a spell check, or I must go back and re edit my post. Can't do that with a PM, so I believe it should be an editor feature option. On by default with small text on where to turn it off?

All that would be needed is a flag in preferences to enable the feature to activate when selecting post your comment. Like most mail editors can be set to do an auto spell check. Before posting, or sending.
