Ok, you added BET HD, which is crap.  Most of the programming is not HD, and is just standard definition on the HD channel.  The same goes for Fuse, MTV HD and VH-1 HD.

FIOS subscribers have been asking for BBC America HD since the inception of the HD channel.  My contract is expiring, and it might be time to jump ship so I can get this channel in HD.

Come on Verizon I left TWC for you guys and there is no BBC America HD. BBC America HD was part of TWC HD package. Docotor Who and Top Gear need to be seen in HD. Everyone wants BBC American HD in this forum. You know you guys want to make your customers happy. Give us BBC America HD.

I just switched from TWC as well and BBCHD was our favorite channel.  Not having this, or any updates on when it will be available, is not worth saving a couple of bucks.  We'll probably be switching back if we don't get any updates from customer service.  Not having FX On Demand is the other driver of our disappointment.

Happy with the service, but without our two favorite cable related things, it's just not worth it.

So it's been ONE YEAR since the same hd channels have been in the queue...what's the real story? Do the owners of those channels not want to provide an HD feed? Does Verizon not want to pay (which is not hard to fathom considering...)? I keep seeing the same messages over and over in the forum and I keep seeing the same message, "Duplicate" or "Acknowledged." And from what I've seen it means "yeah we see your message, but we're going to take our sweet time!" Why does it have to get to the point where we have to beg for HD channels that are extremely popular with the base. I just wish someone would tell us the truth and let us know what's really going on. I have to say that I am very happy with service of the tv, but very frustrated at the fact that I can't get some of my favorite channels in HD. C'mon Verizon! TELL US THE TRUTH!

This entire thread is proof positive that this "voting" for channels is POINTLESS AND MEANINGLESS. Everytime I see a MOD post in a thread, "post in the Share Your Ideas Forum and vote on it", I laugh. What is the point? This BBCA-HD thread has been sitting here for over a year now, has 261 votes as of 10/4 and where does it stand in the HD queue. Certinaly NOT first or second and you cannot honestly tell me there are other channels that have gotten more votes..

So what is the point of voting MODS? Please enlighten me, then maybe I'll stop complaining.

There are many things that have been requested for more than a year, and either not possible or ignored. So it could be they are not items to increase revenue. I hear friends at work talking about shows and the say, " You dont have BBC America HD, what provider do have"?
