Since BBC-HD has already been asked for I'll as for some more. I have the Ultimate HD package and have little interest in sports, yet that seems to be all we're getting as far as new channels these days.

Cartoon Network HD has tons of new HD programing, the Brave and the Bold, Sym-Bionic Titan, etc.

Since Funimation switched over to HD, FIOS now streams the HD channel downconverted on the SD channel and it looks terrible. The resulting picture is either 4:3 letterboxed, or even worse, for 4:3 programming we have a postage stamp sized picture. It's virtually unwatchable. Please add them as a full HD channel ASAP.

I just got FiOS and was bummed out to find that Cartoon Network wasn't available in HD!!!!!!!!

I just switched from Charter (who have Cartoon HD) and I can't believe you don't!  Locals, AMC and Cartoon are really the only channels I care about, so I'm pretty annoyed that you don't have it!

I just got my plan on FIOS for the TV and I specifically asked the Verizon employee helping me to fill out the order on the availability of the Cartoon Network on HD and she said yes.  Only to find out that it does not exist in the channel line-up.  That is a major disapointment and I am hoping we can get an answer on when Verizon is intending to add this channel or I am seriously considering cancelling my service before the trial period ends (no threats just lucky to have the choices out there that offer what I want).

I just switched over from Charter and I have to gotta say I do miss Cartoon Network in HD.  I can't believe that a   company like Charter that I had soooooooo many problems with is doing one thing better than Verizon.  Pity.  (Of course doing one thing right doesn't make-up for Charters many short comings... I am so glad I switched)

Kids are pestering me to switch us back to Comcast because Cartoon Network isn't available in HD!

Looks like this request has been hanging around since 2010... with fiber-optic bandwidth, there's very little excuse not to be carrying the HD version of all of the basic cable channels!

If you do a search online for "Cartoon Network HD FiOS," you'll see many thousands of websites badmouthing Verizon for taking so long to do something, anything, about adding that very popular channel to the lineup.

Verizon, why is CN not available in HD?

Don't lie and say "it's on the list of things to do."  If Time Warner is holding you guys over a barrel for more money to do it, let us know.  If you don't want to add it, let us know.

Just know that I do like FiOS a great deal.  But the lack of CN HD is really hurting my continued enjoyment.

I would think these channels would be a no brainer. I switched from DirectV and was disappointed that the Cartoon Channel was not in HD as was in HD on Directv. Directv has limited space but was able to accoplish this.

I think i made a mistake of switching from TWC to Verizon and now im stuck for 2yrs i got ultimate hd service and theres no Cartoon Network HD, me n my dad watch a lot of soccer no Gol TV HD and Fox Soccer Channel HD how r u suppose to watch sports with no HD where all other providers got in on HD and i asked them a hundred times and got the same answer "its in process to be added" which was a year ago....so i gt lil more thn a year to go if no changes im gone and wnt recommend
