My friends and I totally agree -- I created this account so I could voice my concerns. The information screen takes up almost half of the screen -- that is completely unecessary. The readability of the UI is terrible -- faded blues and fades grays. It is so hard to read -- I use the Guide as little as possible now. I think the new UI is taking longer to process the simplest of requests. Processing speed is much slower than before. How is this an improvement? I know of several neighbors who are looking more closely at Comcast now. (
I agree with previous comments - the new menu is HORRIBLE and difficult to read - since it is my money to pay for this I would appreciate the old menu to return - at least we could read it - this is terrible to begin with especially for us seniors; the coloring and layout does not work - Pls let us know if it will be changed back; if not, I would prefer to change company's - I don't want to pay for something I am not enjoying!!!!!
Definitely have my support, as I'm not visually impaired and actually liked the old one.
I have yet to meet someone in person who prefers the new one, but have the numbers of 10 people who don't if they want to vouch for it.
I agree. It stinks now with the new format. I don't like it at all.
I can't believe anyone at Verizon seriously thinks this faded, poorly colored, poorly contrasted, unreadable, guide is a user friendly improvement over the previous one.. Looks like a make work project for some project director's kid.
Keep this up and Comcast will have less to be concerned about.
Here we go again. There are already numerous threads on this topic see http://forums.verizon.com/t5/Share-Your-Ideas-with
New TV Guide
Need to be worked on.
The color contrast is a very bad choice, it's to dull and uncreative and unappealing to the eye let alone very hard to see. I believe the wording is easier to see in black rather than white. The print is too small and runs together, even close up.
It is horrible and super annoying when you change channels and the info listing sits there covering 1/3 of the screen and you wait and wait for it to disappear....
