Fix your log in acct page to be supported with Chrome
The non stop screw ups withthe log in page is ridiculous! Leave the long in page one way not make users use 5 different ways to log into their email!
Having trouble viewing my verizon account and emails on my desktop, however no problems on on my laptop. I get some type of error response referring to HTTP items on the desktop.
tks
Verizon issued the following notice today:
Here is the status:
The fix that was attempted last night [Tuesday] was rolled back this morning; the network team feels they now have a solid understanding of the issue and the upgrade will be pushed Thursday night.
Here's a quick technical overview:
Initially the problem was detected with Chrome and now is affecting IE8 and we anticipate will affect Firefox next. From what our team is aware of, the Alteon load balancer is not handling some of the browser upgrades that are being launched by Microsoft/Google/Mozilla and customers who receive the upgrades are unable to sign-in as Alteon rejects their request with a 501 error.
For two daysI have had problems logging on the Verizon's home page. My troubleshooting program uncovered no problems, and verizon denied a problem even existed when I contacted them. I finally managed to log on by going to my verizon on google. By reading the forum comments, I found the answer. I feel better knowing that it wasn't something I created. why didn't verizon state it was an update compatability issue when i spoke to the rep.Or are the reps in the dark also?
