Please add the WATCH Disney Apps

Status: Acknowledged
by irobinson on ‎06-14-2012 10:28 AM

It would be great if Verizon FiOS would add the ability for subscribers to view the WATCH Disney apps on their iPhone or iPad. We can already use the Watch ESPN app, so why not the Watch Disney apps?

The watch Disney apps are now a requirement to house holds because of the live tv streaming with the apps Verizon quantum Internet speeds allow you to access this live HD streaming with complete crystal clarity the watch Disney apps will run smooth and buffer free because of the new faster Internet services provided by verizon they combine Disney, Disney xd and Disney junior

Red they want Verizon to add the ability to stream the app.  When you try to connect the app to Verizon it advises you to ask Verizon to turn on the service.

Yes, Verizon, please add this. We just switched over from Comcast today. When I went to update the app I discovered I can't. My son is going to be *so* dissapointed.

Is there any update on this? This was acknowleged 9 months ago - is there any plan to finally support this app? It seems ridiculous that Verizon supports this type of sign-in verififcation with other channels, but not Disney. It's obviously not a technical problem, just something that could be solved if only someone actually worked this out with Disney. We all pay for this content already, and yet can't access it through the Disney app. Why bother paying so much for TV if we're no different than cord-cutters in these apps?
