Fox Soccer Channel has lost the rights to broadcast football (soccer) games from top European leagues La Liga (Spain) and Serie A (Italy). Al Jazeera Sports Network has won the rights to broadcast those games for the 2012-2013 seasons onward. They will broadcast the games on their sports channels beIN Sports 1 and beIN Sports 2 which are currently not part of your FiOS channel lineup. 

Unless Verizon adds these channels to their FiOS lineup, Verizon customers in North America will be unable to see any games from La Liga and Serie A. The games won't be available online through legal channels either. This means that Verizon customers will have no access to games from such high profile teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, etc. 

Please add beIN Sports 1 and beIN Sports 2 to the FiOS channel lineup.

Ill second this.  And get Al-Jazira on while your at it.  This would seriosuly make me switch to another provider.

This channel will be must. But please not on the ultimate package. I already pay enough for fios as it is

Add this channel - if it was worth having GOL TV, then it is essential to have the channel La Liga games are now on too.

I have to agree with everyone above. This is a HUGE deal... the ONLY reason I switched to FioS was for ESPN Deportes and GolTV. With GolTV now becoming obsolete, it is imperative to take on La Liga. Not to mention that bein sports will likely be bidding for the BPL in the coming years. Please do right by our football fans!

Agreed!  If FiOS doesn't carry LaLiga, I will have WAAAYYY  fewer reasons to watch and would gladly give up my premium channels and settop boxes throughout the house. I will have no choice but to find streaming channels on the internet and get my movie fix there as well or consider switching to a provide who does carry La Liga/BeInSports.

While GolTV will not be COMPLETELY obsolete (they will still carry Bundesliga games), these 2 new channels will carry 3 of the Top 5 football leagues IN THE WORLD.

If these 2 channels are not picked up, FIOS will only cover 2 of the Top 5 leagues instead of all 5. I would find this to be highly unacceptable and would be forced to consider other options for my television service .

Also, I should not have to say this, but HD is a must. The only reason you have not gotten a Fox Soccer Plus subscription out of me through all these years is because there is no HD feed available.

stealthhe and pcrerar I am sure Direct TV will probably be the first to carry these channels and I am afraid that FIOS might be late adding these channels and would take them 1 year and half to add them as they did with FSC HD to be added!
