I would like to be able to set a reminder in the guide to watch a specific program. For example, let's say I want to watch a show on channel 504 at 10:00pm. It's now 7:00pm and I am watching a sports event.

I can set a reminder for the channel to automatically change to 504 at 10:00pm because I set a reminder.

Dish Network has had this option for several years.

Yeah, I was just saying this the other day.  I had thought that I just saw it, but my girlfriend said 'no', so I must have been dreaming when we had Comcast (although I still wouldn't go back).

That capability already exists.

Go in to the guide. Find the prgram you want. Hit Info. Then chose select reminder.

THis works for non-DVR boxes. I know it has been said before that this does not work on DVRs.

Already exists on all boxes, except DVR's. The DVR's get this feature in IMG 1.9

Yes, Reminders! Just like Comcast has. I have a DVR and see the feature in IMG 1.9. And when might that be?
