We should offer a FIOS package that allows you to access Facebook, Twitter, Internet etc. on TV screen via Widgets or some similar function. Users could purchase package or PPU over a designated time frame.
Tie this into DROID so people can use a single provider whether at home or mobile. The devices can be linked via account numbers. Consumers are spending 2-3k on wireless televisions with the social networks capability.
Facebook and Twitter access is already available. Press the Widgets button on your remote, navigate to the FiOS Widget Bazaar and press OK, then go down to the Social category to find them. They are free for all FiOS TV subscribers with a FiOS TV receiver.
I think he wants to be able to purchase a package to enable access to those internet services, and that package would be available either as a monthly subscription or a pay-per-use deal where you could access it in daily or weekly blocks.
Which, of course, is all moot because it's already available for free.
