Switch to Tribune Media Services for your guide data. Everyone else uses it, do you think FYI and your data providers are better, or just cheaper and more profitable?

1. Not happy about loosing Fox Network or CW, this and other issues with TV Fios may cause us to close our account.
2. When we switched to Fios we lost a few stations as well. And even on Demand the show will not come up. The Glades, I missed the last show of the season.
3. While recording a show, you cannot go into it through the DVR to watch and stop and resume, it makes you start over. And while it is recording if you want to exit and just watch the show during regular time it does not show that you have exited.
4. When in the Search grid, Looking up a show, if it is a show that is available you can look up more info, but when the show is passed the future of the 8 day limit, it shuts your Fios down, stops and your have to reset to get it back up and then all the history of your searches are gone.
5. Saved Searches does not work.
6. Would like more information on the Characters, Actors, Actresses, Etc.
This may be alot and might be more as we have only had Fios TV since September and so I hope they can improve these areas. I do like Fios TV and really do not want to have to switch to another.
Tribune Media Service for guide data. They are a guide data provider. I love my FiOS service, but the guide data needs to be improved. No matter how much you put into the guide, if it is not accurate, it is worthless. Regardless of functionality or how pretty I think it is. I do believe we will see some major things next year. But I will not use the word soon.![]()
thank you for the suggestion.
If this is the guide content provider that Comcast & DirecTv have, please use it as well Verizon. I had Xfinity in my house before I switched to FiOS a year ago. I still have DirecTv in my house for Sunday Ticket and other sports packages. Comcast and DirecTv never have issues with the guide. In the year that I've had FiOS, this is my biggest issue with you. Constantly you have wrong shows and sometime if you have the right show and no description, the DVR flags it as a new show and records it. I've seen this many times on Nick (I have 3 small children) because I have many of their shows set to record new shows only and keep the latest 5 shows. Many times with out a show description, the DVR records a repeat and deletes other shows.
