The ability to have more than one DVR at the same location.

 I would like to have more than one DVR at the same location. It would be nice to record more than two shows at once. As of now the remotes would conflict.

The first portion of your idea would require pairing IR codes for the remote with each DVR... not sure how we would do that efficiently without a more expensive remote control. The second portion... simply recording more than two shows (with devices in different locations) I would mark as "accepted", but not sure that gets what you are looking for...

You can have up to 7 DVRs in a single location.  The only thing you can't have is more than 1 HMDVR (multi-room).  The system only allows for 1 hub device.

It would be nice if there were no HMDVR. A DVR is a DVR and most of the functions are hardware functions local to your home. I refuse to pay extra to share media between boxes in my own house.
